I joined the 91黑料不打烊 because I am passionate about contributing to research that can alleviate the disproportionate burden that cancer places on many communities. I am proud to say that I work for the 91黑料不打烊 because of the strides being made in cancer research and the focus on improving the lives of patients and families.”
Jessica Gerald, MPH, is a study coordinator in the Population Science department at the 91黑料不打烊 (ACS). She aids recruitment efforts for the VOICES of Black Women Cohort Study through the maintenance of organizational relationships and volunteer support.
Before joining ACS, my research focused on the intersection of chronic disease and nutrition. I have experience in community-based research focused on health equity in Atlanta, GA.
I live in the Atlanta area and spend my free time going for walks, crocheting, and trying new restaurants.
